I have run into a problem compiling for ESP32 glcd PCD85442. The result is always the same...
ninja failed with exit code 1
I have tried with a different display and everything compiles OK.
So there seems to be a problem with the ESP32 glcd PCD85442 combination.
I hope you can help.
Regards
Pete

Re: ESP32 glcd PCD85442
Hello.
Thank you for letting us know.
Unfortunately, the ESP32 is fussier than other types of microcontrollers.
I have fixed the component and will be pushed onto the update system as soon as possible.
If you would like to try the component before the updates are pushed.
Browse to this location using file explorer, it's hidden by default so just paste the link into your address bar.
Replace the existing file with the attached file.
If Flowcode is already open, then you will need to reload your project for the new components to work
If you run any component updates, then the components you added will be overwritten with the updated version.
Can you let me know how it goes, please?

Re: ESP32 glcd PCD85442
Thank you for you quick reply.
From reading the forum I understand the ESP is a finicky beast.
I have followed your instructions and deleted and replaced the fcpx file you have supplied, and refreshed my Flowcode, Unfortunately
the problem still persists.
I have attached the new build log.
Regards
Pete

Re: ESP32 glcd PCD85442
Maybe I'm jumping the gun here. the hidden V10 components is still showing a date of 28/11/2022, 12:15:12. Do I have to wait for that to update?

I tried the fcpx you posted as an attachment but unfortunately it didn't work.

Hello.
The error you reported is gone as I had the same error before the component update.
Now when I compile your project with the updated component I get:
A suggestion.
Rather than using My Documents folder, create a new folder e.g C:\My Flowcode Projects
Move your project to the new folder and try again
