I will not hijack in FC8 forum concerning the above, thats why I ask here.
I have tested your new component. Seemed to work nicely, but sometime fluativatin a little, and as I see the Ref on the LTSR is sensitive. Do you know what I should do with this pin, ground or? pls.
I remember you for a short while ago edit the I2C display so it is possible to set how many decimal we want in a Float. Work nice in real world but not in simulation. Small thing
Hi, Jorgen,
The REF is a 2.5V bandgap ref output, so you can leave it open circuit.
I believe its function is to supply VRef of a microcontroller to make the results even more accurate (and more stable in the case of PSU ripple).
Thank for the spot with the simulation, I Will investigate and fix the issue of the decimal places issue.
Edit:
If you roll back one version, then the rounding will work again.
I will still investigate the cause.
all in all when we take into account that it is a component with such a large measuring range and that resolution is I thought it is very fine. And the small inaccuracies could be hardware as well as I can see the stability of supply voltage must be very very stable.
I have not test and compare in datasheet, but could the component also be used with ASC712?
No, but the good news is Flowcode already has an ASC712 component.
Just select Component Libraries, then select the search magnifying glass and enter acs.
You can select the version from within the properties.
