PC is crashing (32 bit when I have a 64 bit windows system.)

Installed V11 and upgraded to Professional.

Followed an official Matrix youtube example using the DSP components.
System immediately freezes when I run debug.
Task manager says my Flowcode version is the 32bit version.
When installing flowcode the installation process apparantly installs the 32 bit version.
I'd like to have the 64 version installed but the process is automated.
How do I override the automated installation process to install the 64bit version in helping to troubleshoot this freezing up?
Version 10 also would freeze every now and then.

I using Windows 10 professional 64 bit with a 2.44Ghz processor. Not overclocked.

Your installation all sounds fine, most computers are 64-bit now and Flowcode is a 32-bit application as it doesn't require 64-bit operations. Can you attach your Flowcode .fcfx project file and we will investigate what could be causing the problem.

As for freezing if it's not Flowcode project related then sounds like you maybe have system instabilities? Could maybe be an intermittent hardware problem on your system? Or could be an over jealous antivirus? Hard to say really could be a lot of things. Might be worth opening the task manager and keeping an eye on the stats to see what's hogging resources. There are also benchmaring tools available for checking the stability of your CPU, RAM, HDD etc under load.
