Chart with more options

Hi Steve

Chart in FC11 are very practical and comfortable.

Additional options can be used when the component is loaded in this way:

click the "Creation" component library on the menu whilst holding down the control key.

Last year there were more options than there are now.
Maybe these can be added again.
What I would still like to do is set the y-scale to 25 instead of 50 units.

Another minor problem is that the exported program with the chart is not displayed correctly.
There is something wrong with the division of the x-axis. (It is OK in standard chart.)

I will look at adding more options for axis display and investigate the problem when exporting the deployed app.

Last year there were more options than there are now.
Maybe these can be added again.

I've checked and the options for the XY chart seem to be the same right back to v9 as far as I can see. What options were there that are not now? And what additional options would you like to see?

I found one option again ....
go to style, select custom colour

go to plot Area, then move opacity to the left, so you can use 2 chart on the same place to use more than 5 color for the series.

There was still a small problem.
During the simulation, the chart freezes at 50 for a short time and then continues. When I set the simulation speed to the far left, it is perfect.

I also had such problems with the CSV writer.
Can I somehow set the simulation to always run at maximum speed?

The default simulation speed is not saved as part of a project, but it should be saved when Flowcode is closed and so should be remembered when Flowcode is next run.

An update on this.

You can access the properties of the base chart of the XYChart, which might make things easier and solve your issue with the x-axis scale during deployment. For example, the following code switches the style to "custom", but you can make similar changes to all other properties (I have attached a modified project and deployed v11 app).

Unfortunately, I was not able to find a workaround for the x-axis problem on the base charts, but I seem to have fixed it for the next Flowcode release.

I have also investigated additional axis options and there will be 2 new axis properties to control each axis:

• Major Unit - sets the values shown on the axis
• Minor Unit - sets the number of extra gridlines between numbers on the axis

Here's a screenshot of your deployed app using these new properties on the second chart. The y-axis has Major Unit set to 25, and the x-axis has Major Unit set to 100 and Minor Unit set to 5.
