Re: Compiling error 0x1 with Atmel-ICE to Atmega328p
Hello,
You seem to have overwritten the settings for the compiler to AVRdude which should be used for the programmer. This will break your compilation.
Please go back into the compiler options, select the AVR -> E-Blocks option, check the Standard-Compiler option checkbox and click OK.
Now click the Build -> Compile to hex option and the project should compile.
If this compiles ok then you could try and use the AVRdudess software to manually send the hex file. If this works ok then you can alter the AVRdude settings in the programmer tab of the compiler options, leaving the compiler and linker tabs as they are.
If you're still having problems compiling using the E-Blocks setting then please attach your Flowcode .fcfx project file as well as the .msg.txt file that's generated.

Re: Compiling error 0x1 with Atmel-ICE to Atmega328p
Hi,
Ok so compilation to hex is now working great.
The next step is to work out the settings for your specific programmer.
There is a front end tool for AVRdude called AVRdudess and it can be downloaded from here.
https://blog.zakkemble.net/avrdudess-a-gui-for-avrdude/
You can use it standalone to transfer your Flowcode hex file onto your device.
Once you have it working we can try and work out command line parameters for Flowcode so the compile to chip will directly call AVRdude with the right parameters.
