Hi
Tried to download FC again to reinstall. However when I try to download the msi file using Firefox I am apparently downloading FlowcodeV9_Installer.msi.fcfx which of course plays havoc as FC then tries to open it instead of Windows running it.
Same if I try to download any other FC version, the .fcfx is added during download.
This only happens with Firefox. Any ideas?
Regards

Re: FC Installer download adds .fcfx
Hi
It's only started doing it. I've been going through the web looking for ideas and apparently similar issues have been going on for quite a while with no "one size fits all" fix.
So far no joy...
Tried changing a few settings but no luck, I still get
It did update itself a few days ago so.....
Tempted to just uninstall / reinstall but might look a bit longer for a fix.
Thanks for the link though.

Re: FC Installer download adds .fcfx - Fixed
Hi
I tried many of the fixes offered on the web to no avail, FF for whatever reason insisted the .msi should be opened by FC. This was a recent development possibly after a FF update.
Rather than completely uninstall / reinstall I went to Help> More Troubleshooting Information and did a Refresh. This fixed the issue with the minimum of pain (kept bookmarks and such like). I did have to download extensions/plug-ins etc again but not too troublesome and easier than a complete reinstall.
