Components!

Hi all!

I see that recently new components have been added in the FC9 and recently the MCP9600 and HCSR04 rangefinder, so nice look forward to make a test for the rangefinder. Imagine how universal FC is and all the opportunities we have to do many good, usefull and fun projects with FC. Thanks to everyone who made them, I wish I could, but I am a great user .

Ok, now not too much praise . I have a wish the ST7789 component has never worked. Martin mnf tried a while ago to make a new component for this display but without success, seemed to be a little tricky. My wish is if any of you experts will look at that component in FC and see if there is an error. It's a nice little display.

Thanks for the comments they are very much appreciated and yes we are trying to make a positive push to try and meet any incoming requests where possible at the moment.

I've now purchased a ST7789 display and it arrives later this week so I'll have another go at a component. Thanks again for the suggestion.

Hi,

I did indeed do a component - works well for some displays but needs converting to transaction comms. I suspect there might be some timing issues when using different mcus.

Needs the font code pulling in as well.... If folk want font support

But, it does work well and quick too... Ben - I'll pm you the code and if you can use any then feel free...

Things seem to get in the way of working on these things at the moment...

Ok Martin, I do not know if you remember it, but no matter what I did I could not make it work and the only background color I could make it show was blue and I could not change the font size etc. Please do not understand it as a criticism, at all, you have helped me a lot and I am gratefull but since I did not hear from you anymore, I though you have given it up.

I saw today that an update for ST7789 display, so I test, but sorry no luck so far
