Adding the LED Array

<^< Set up the Output | Course Index | Adding the Switches >^>(:nl:)

# Click on the Outputs button and select 'LED Array' . Place the LED Array in the middle of the System Panel by moving the cursor over the component and then clicking and dragging the box into position or right-clicking and selecting 'Center all objects'.

# Click next to the 'Count' property under the 'Simulation' section on the Properties Panel and type the value '7', this changes the number of LEDs - you will find out why we are doing this on the next page.

# Click next to the 'Port' property and select 'PORTD' from the drop-down menu to connect the LEDs to the pins on Port D.

# Change the colour of the LED Array to red (0000FF). You can change the colour of the LED Array by changing the 'LED 0' property whilst the 'Same Color' property is set to 'Yes', you may also change the LEDs individually when the 'Same Color' property is set to 'No'.(:nl:)(:table style="clear:both":)
