<^< PORT B | Course Index | PORT D >^>(:nl:) * Full 8 pins of Port C can be used on a 16F1937 device * RC0-RC7 can be used as digital inputs * RC0-RC7 can be used as digital outputs * PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) is possible on RC1 and RC2 * Port C also contains a USART (Universal Synchronous - Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter) and a MSSP (Master Synchronous Serial Port) for serial communication

* The pins of Port C are mapped on the 16F1937 microcontroller as on this drawing

* The pins of Port C are connected to the 9-pin D-type connector of Port C on the Multiprogrammer board.

This port is connected to the rest of the PICmicro internals by an 8-bit bus system.
